Liverpool have been heavily linked with Andre Trindade

Liverpool's interest in Fluminense players extends beyond Andre Trindade, with reports suggesting talks have also been held regarding the acquisition of 16-year-old striker Matheus Reis. According to Calcio Mercato, discussions about Andre prompted Liverpool to inquire about the conditions for signing the promising young forward. However, Liverpool faces competition for Reis, as Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City are also reportedly interested in the Brazilian talent.

Reis, who made his debut for the Under-17 Brazilian national team earlier this year, has attracted attention from top clubs in Spain and England. Should Liverpool pursue both Andre and Reis, the combined transfer fee is estimated to be around £73 million, with recent reports suggesting that the defensive midfielder Reis could be secured in the January transfer window for £30 million. Reis, on the other hand, has a £43million (€50m) release clause in his current deal with Fluminense, and according to CalcioMercato, the amount does not alarm the 'English superpowers'.
