Manchester City thrashed Crystal Palace 5-2

Manchester City reignited their Champions League hopes with a thrilling 5-2 comeback win over Crystal Palace on Saturday. Pep Guardiola's men, frustrated by a recent draw against Manchester United, initially stumbled again as Eberechi Eze tapped home Ismaila Sarr’s cross to give Palace an early lead. City’s James McAtee missed a golden chance moments earlier, while Omar Marmoush was later denied by Dean Henderson. Palace made it 2-0 through Chris Richards, who nodded in from an Adam Wharton corner. However, City responded with authority, led by a sensational performance from Kevin De Bruyne, who orchestrated the comeback.

Goals from Phil Foden, Julian Alvarez, and a De Bruyne brace flipped the game, before substitute Matheus Nunes added a fifth. Despite a spirited start from Palace, City's attacking firepower proved too much. The victory moves City closer to securing a top-four finish in the Premier League.
