When you become a professional football player, you have to accept certain ways that this business works, you get treated like meet to be sold to the highest bidder and your club has the chance to use you as they see fit. In the latest story of a player who isn't happy with his club, French international Blaise Matuidi has revealed he wanted to leave Paris Saint-Germain but the club didn't want him to leave and decided to not listen to any offers.
Talking to the press, he said: "There was a concrete demand. Yes, I wanted to go at the time. The club decided otherwise and I had to accept it. There was a difficult period because I had a wish that has not been fulfilled. I'm not unhappy at PSG, far from it. There is a new coach and I know he trusts me."
On the other hand, also French international Antoine Griezmann revealed the reason why he rejected an offer from Paris Saint-Germain as well: "For now, [PSG] is not my objective. We talked about the coach, that he would perhaps go to Paris. I called before renewing, it was important to me. He confirmed that he would remain. I have many things to learn with him."
