Montella doesn't want Bacca leaving Milan

Italian manager Vincenzo Montella is currently working really hard to make AC Milan a better team that can compete against the best teams in Serie A this next season. With his personal requests, keeping their most important players ranks at the very top, that includes Colombian striker Carlos Bacca and M'Baye Niang who are working well together.

Talking to Corriere dello Sport, Montella said: "Bacca is a player of an international standard. It's hard to give up a player who guarantees goals. The club will evaluate things with the boy, because he aspires to play in the Champions League. The squad needs to be completed but we have clear ideas. The ball is now in [CEO Adriano] Galliani's court - he must make the best choices based on the market and our finances."

About Niang, Montella wishes for the young player to keep growing inside the club: "He has great potential, which he hasn't yet fulfilled completely. If he wants to become a champion, then now is the time."
