Montella thinks Milan can survive without Bacca

Due to a thigh injury he suffered this week, Colombian striker Carlos Bacca is scheduled to miss out on at least a month of competition due to a muscle tear. AC Milan's next match against Empoli will be crucial for them to continue dreaming of a possible title, but they really needed Bacca to have better odds at actually winning any game.

Manager Vincenzo Montella is not worried about this, he actually thinks they can defeat Empoli even without Bacca. He told the press that: "I've watched many of their [Empoli] matches. They're a team that is organized defensively and able to play well. Lapadula wants to be a protagonist. He's fine, but for the characteristics of our opponents, we may also play Luiz Adriano. Despite Bacca's absence, we have some important solutions."

He continued: "Players affected by the takeover? If so, they're not showing it, otherwise they're showing its advantages. The lads are focused, we're giving a great show of professionalism and desire to win, and that's the most that can a coach can expect."
