Pele defends Dunga from Brazil failure

Being part of Brazil's golden years and the leader of that generation, gives Pele the right to speak his mind when it comes to the Canarinha. This week, coach Dunga got axed from the team and Pele wanted to come out and publicly express his support to the former Brazil skipper. The best player in football history, understands better than anyone, that Brazil's problem doesn't lie in the manager who takes control of the team, but in the dismally poor generations they have today.

Talking to the press, King Pele defended Dunga from all the backlash, who he thinks is not to blame for what's happening to Brazil: "I don't think it's fair for all the critics that are talking badly about Dunga, who has nothing to do with this. Dunga did his job. Unfortunately, the Brazilian national team didn't have time to train and they changed the whole team every tournament. So it's not Dunga's fault."

About the new manager, Pele also gave his full support, he said: "I think Tite is the coach of the moment without a doubt and he is capable of doing this. One thing that deserves attention is that Dunga doesn't have anything to do with the performance of the Brazilian team. It's because they didn't have time to train. I think Tite is deserving of the job."
