Piazon criticizes Chelsea's loan program

It's not a secret that every single major club in the world has this new approach to young talent. When they sign a really young transfer to their side, if they consider he is too inexperienced they tend to send him to another club where he will have more minutes in order to gain that experience he needs. Clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona have tried this formula but not all clubs succeed whilst doing it, Chelsea FC has applied this method with Brazilian youngster Lucas Piazon but he didn't like it.

Talking to the Daily Mail, Piazon said: "It makes no sense to go on loan all the time. It is not good for any player in my experience – or the experience of the other boys. I don't see it as a positive thing anymore. To be in a different place every year is not good for me at 22. It's difficult to get a place in the team. They have their own players. You do your best, try to get a place in the squad, minutes on the pitch, score and create goals. That's all you can do."

It's still unclear if the Chelsea board will approve this kind of criticism from a player who still hasn't proved himself at the highest level. His arrival to Fulham proves that he still needs more minutes in order to reach that potential the Blues believe he has, but his time as a Chelsea property might be limited with this incendiary statement. Only time will tell.
