Schmidt has his full trust on Chicharito

German club Bayer Leverkusen has no chance of taking AS Monaco's first place in their group, but they can at least get a victory this Wednesday in a thrilling match between star strikers Chicharito and Falcao. This game will take place at Bay Arena Stadium in Germany, in what will be the last group stage matches for Group E and Bayer Leverkusen really needs Hernandez's resolve for this match and the rest of the season.

The Mexican striker is coming from a devastating blow he took after missing a penalty last weekend, this will hurt his confidence and the manager will surely support him without a problem. He is set to start against Monaco this Wednesday, something that he really needs in order to get past that bitter moment from last weekend and get back to his old self.

Manager Schmidt said: "I haven't taken him [Hernandez] to one side to speak to him. Every striker goes through a difficult patch, and Javier just so happens to be going through one at the moment.  I know it's only a matter of time before he starts scoring again, though. It's about time we beat Monaco. We were incredibly unfortunate to lose to them twice in last season's group stage, and we were unlucky to only get a draw from our last game against them. That we have qualified is good, but Monaco is important with view to the upcoming matches."
