The Spanish National team could not find their right identity during the whole match against Italy, the local squad showed their world famous Cantenaccio. The team managed by Vicente del Bosque struggled during the first half as Italy played the counter attack perfectly, but thanks to savior goalkeeper De Gea, they could not score during the first half. But after a goalless draw on the first half, the second half was way better for Spain, who depleted their offensive force and kept the ball for longer periods of time.
Spain needs to call back their best players like Iniesta, Diego Costa and Sergio Busquets, all of them injured. It was evident that the Spaniards missed them, especially 'Busi'. But on the good side veteran Aritz Aduris responded with a goal to Del Bosque's call-up. However, the first team to draw blood were the Italians, they got their goal at the 64th minute with Lorenzo Insigne's strike after a Giaccherini assist from the left.
But the taste would last for only four minutes, because it was Aduriz who tucked in a loose ball after Morata struck the ball with his head during a Spain set piece. The Juventus striker was in clear off-side that the ref didn't call. Aduriz managed to translate his near perfect form to the national team and give more options to Vicente del Bosque looking at the upcoming European Championship in France this summer. If all goes well for the Athletic striker, the manager will call him up and line him up as the star striker.
The match ended with this draw thanks to David de Gea, who saved at least four chances for Spain after near perfect counter attacks from the Italian. The Manchester United goalie is proving everyone that he is ready to take on Spain's goal as the main keeper in detriment of Porto's Iker Casillas who is not having the best of seasons with the Dragons in Portugal.
