Tevez vows to remain at Boca

Carlitos Tevez is one of the main figures in Argentine football for historic club Boca Juniors, just like Juan Roman Riquelme or Diego Maradona, Tevez has earned his place in the pantheon of the greatest by their side. That is why he has decided to come back after his long spell in European football, and despite rumors linking him to an imminent return to the old continent, Tevez is staying. He is a Boca fan and as such, he feels responsible for the future of this club.

Talking to the press, Carlitos revealed that Chelsea and Napoli have made him very lucrative offers to return to Europe but he has turned them down. For him there is no greater joy than playing for the club of his life where he first started his love affair with the ball and the sport. He spoke to the media about the offers and vowed eternal love to Boca: "I'm going to carry on at Boca, whether Napoli, Chelsea or anyone else comes. I'll continue here to fight with my team-mates.

"I always try to do the best for the club and my idea has always been to retire at Boca. Everything that is said is just rumor. Whenever an objective at Boca isn't achieved, you almost always make a novel out of it, and I'm used to that. But I see myself at Boca for a long time. I signed for three years and never doubted what I signed for, or the love I have for the shirt."
