Wenger gives injury update

During the last match against Hull City, Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey got injured and things didn't look good for the Welshman. They are still expecting on the test result to come out but looking at Wenger's latest statement with the Arsenal web site, the medical staff is not expecting Ramsey's injury to be something mild. According to the French manager there is a certain state of emergency regarding the Welsh midfielder, who in case the incident is serious could even miss the next Wales call-up.

"We had a few injuries at Hull - Gabriel, Mertesacker and Ramsey. Mertesacker and Gabriel are very positive, there is nothing wrong there, they are both good. There is a small alert [with Ramsey], we don’t know how bad it is. Koscielny is not far, he will have tests until Sunday, but it could come too soon. He has a little chance. Cech, Wilshere and Cazorla are all progressing nicely, but this week and next week they have no chance."

The Gunners are set to face Watford next Sunday in the FA Cup, Wenger has up to ten injured men and he will face the next week without all those players. The most alarming thing of all this is that the Gunners will have to travel to Spain in order to play against FC Barcelona, having all these injured men will make the Champions League return leg an even more impossible task, especially with the already near perfect season the Catalan club is having .
