Wes Morgan lauds his teammates for title

Leicester City's skipper Wes Morgan was the key player during last Sunday's 1-1 draw at Old Trafford against Manchester United. The match against the Red Devils was decisive in their search for their first ever Premier League title. A goal that was good enough to give them a point and expect Tottenham to not win this Monday at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea in a new edition of a London Derby. At the end, the Spurs weren't able to win against the Blues and Morgan celebrated as if it was his last day on earth.

During the celebrations at Jamie Vardy's house, Morgan spoke to the Leicester City official web site and told them: "It's the best feeling of my career and I couldn't be prouder that it’s as part of this team. Everyone's worked so hard for this, nobody believed we could do it, but here we are, Premier League champions and deservedly so. I've never known a spirit like the one between these boys. We're like brothers. People saw it last season when everyone expected us to be relegated, but we fought back to prove people wrong.

"This season's been a continuation of that. We've built on the momentum, but I don't think anyone believed it would come to this. Saturday can't come quickly enough. I can't wait to get my hands on the trophy."

Now, the Foxes will have the privilege of celebrating their first ever Premier League title next weekend when they play against Everton FC. The celebrations are set to last over a week after that match against Everton, some of the players may even be hung over during the last Premier League match against Chelsea, but that's okay because they completely deserve it.
