West Ham beat Leicester 2-0

Leicester remained in 19th place, five points from safety, after failing to score in each of those losses and giving up a total of 12 goals. In their last 12 league games, the Foxes have suffered 11 defeats. At London Stadium, Tomas Soucek gave the home team the lead in the twenty-first minute. Shortly before halftime, Jarrod Bowen's effort deflected off Jannik Vestergaard for an own goal, giving the Hammers a two-goal advantage.

After losing to Brentford 4-0 at home last Friday, Leicester made changes to their coaching staff, although Van Nistelrooy remained in control. In 14 Premier League games under the Dutch manager, Leicester has two wins, one draw and 11 losses. “We were way too passive,” Van Nistelrooy told TNT Sports. “Of course we’re in a situation where we’re not winning games and we’re in a situation where we are in the bottom three, and the pressure’s on.
