Zola confident on Conte's Chelsea waking up

There are times when an international break changes everything for many clubs, it can go either good or bad but the change tends to be scandalous and drastic. Italian Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola, believes this is what will happen to his beloved Blues who were going through a hard time lately and the results were not coming their way. He was not happy with Antonio Conte's results because he believes him to be a world class manager.

The former Italy and Juventus manager had a whole week and a half to try and change this negative streak, Zola expects him to have found the bug that doesn't let them get to that sweet spot. On paper, Chelsea is one of the most competitive sides in all of Europe, which is why everyone is so bewildered for their lack of positive results lately.

Talking to reporters, Zola said this: "It's an advantage that Chelsea are not in the Champions League. I think it can be a good point. It will obviously be about how quick they are going to change into the new system and how the players are going to settle. But I have confidence. I know Conte is a hard-working coach. I'm sure they will make the most of it. I'm positive about that. I think the team started very well and then they had a little setback. But now it seems to be that they are picking up again. It's normal, it's a process and I can see the potential to get better and better."
