Joe Ledley lashes out against Ronaldo

This happens only with the very best players, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are the perfect examples for this. Just last month during the Copa America, Messi scored a hat-trick against Panama in just 20 minutes and barely broke a sweat. This past Wednesday it was Ronaldo's turn to shine and despite not being nearly the best player against Wales throughout the 90 minutes, it took him two minutes to decide the match with a goal and an assist.

This was frustrating to many Welsh players who believed Gareth Bale was without question, the best player on the field. But Ronaldo will always be Ronaldo and despite not performing at his best, all he needs is a blink of an eye to smite you. But Welsh midfielder Ledley, proved the frustration many of his teammates felt after losing to the Portuguese forward.

After the match he said: "He's one of those players who frustrates you. He's never in the game compared to Gareth [Bale]. He's always in the game, always on the ball, always wanting it, always dribbling and always trying to do something. They were two crappy goals. Ronaldo's shot was useless. Normally he hits them from there but he scuffed the cross for a tap-in. With the header, the guy can leap, but apart from that he didn't really do anything in the game. You can't disagree with his ability. He's a fantastic player, one of the best in the world. But we just had one of those days where things he did came off. He's now in the final and you wish him well."

There there Ledley, there there.....
