Paolo Maldini's adventure at AC Milan has come to an end. The announcement was made by the Rossoneri team, through a statement, in their official media.
"AC Milan announces that Paolo Maldini has ended his term at the club, effective 5 June 2023." The former Rossoneri legend, at the club as sporting director, says goodbye to Milanello after five years and a Scudetto in the trophy room, won last season in the exciting long-distance duel with Inter.
The Rossoneri club thanks Maldini "for his contribution over the last few years, with Milan's return to the Champions League and winning the Scudetto in the 2021/22 season". Its responsibilities", continues the note, "will be assigned to an integrated working group that will work in close contact with the coach of the main team, reporting directly to the CEO".
