Holland is currently going through their worst time in recent history as they can't seem to catch a break int he World Cup Qualifiers. They really needed a win against France last Monday, but all they got was a defeat thanks to a Paul Pogba solo goal and a dismal performance from the referee who didn't call a clear penalty in their favor. Dutch manager Danny Blind obviously talked about Koscielny's handball and was outraged by the referee's call.
Talking to TV station NOS, Blind said: "[It's] amazing that no penalty was given. The fourth official came after the break and said it was absolutely no hands. When I heard that, I thought: What is this about? I think we deserved a point. I think we put in a lot of energy against a very strong team. They [France] do have more quality and more players with the ability to score."
The boss also pointed out that the goalkeeper made a horrible mistake, clearly saying that he misses starting goalkeeper Jasper Ciellessen who is currently injured: "I think Martin could save these kinds of shots. He knows that himself. In training he takes them effortlessly," Blind added.
