Barcelona reportedly rejected two massive offers

Barcelona reportedly rejected two massive offers from the Premier League this summer for rising star Fermín López. According to Diario Sport, both Manchester United and Chelsea submitted proposals worth around €80 million at the end of July. The 21-year-old midfielder has been one of the brightest talents to emerge from La Masia in recent years, impressing with his energy, vision, and eye for goal.

With Barcelona still under financial pressure as they work to meet La Liga’s 1:1 rule, speculation suggested the club could be forced to cash in on valuable assets. Fermín’s performances naturally attracted attention from Europe’s elite, with United and Chelsea keen to secure his services. However, Barça’s leadership made it clear they see him as untouchable, turning down both offers and signalling their intent to build around the academy graduate for the future.
